The ten commandments ... of trampolining!
1. Alone you will jump
With several people, practice is risky. Avoid injuries. And your trampoline will remain your favourite playground.
2. Thou shalt check the trampoline
Make sure you check the technical parts of your trampoline regularly.
From a single leaf on the cushion to residue on the jumping mat, cleaning takes little time but ensures a long life for the trampoline.
If you need to, you can go to the trampoline service department. Safety first.
3. Take care of your trampoline
In winter, when the cold and rain threaten, you must take care of your trampoline.
A cover or other trampoline accessories will help you to optimise its life span.
You can also store its fragile parts in a dry place, the choice is yours.
4. Empty your pockets
A toy, keys, or any other small object can quickly become a danger to your jumping mat. Make sure that nothing can fall out of your pockets and damage your trampoline.
5. Take off your shoes.
Never wear shoes on a trampoline, barefoot or in socks. The jumping mat, cushion and springs will thank you.
6. Thou shalt securely fasten thy trampoline
To prevent the equipment from blowing away or being damaged by the wind, remember to secure your frame and feet to the ground. In case of a storm, removing the jumping mat is the best protection.
7. Thou shalt not do somersaults
Trampoline jumping should be safe and without risk to the jumper. Don't try any complicated tricks if you haven't learned the basics. Flips are aptly named, so avoid risking injury to yourself or others on the trampoline.
8. Thou shalt place it away from obstacles.
Swings, swimmingpools and barbecues should be kept away from the trampoline.
9. Keep your trampoline away from fire.
Barbecue embers, cigarettes and fireworks should be avoided at all costs!
A punctured jumping mat means a high risk of tearing and easily avoidable replacement costs.
Think about it!
10. You will enjoy many years.
With all this advice, you can enjoy your leisure trampoline with peace of mind!
