Maxime Roux
Wakeboarding
Maxime Roux
Maxime Roux, a 17-year-old wakeboarder, is a real young talent: he has been playing sport since the age of 5 and competing at elite level since 2015.
He trains relentlessly in both boat and cable wakeboarding at the Cajarc water sports club, his training base. Already a multiple medallist — most notably IWWF Boat World Champion and Cable European Champion in 2018 — Maxime measures his talent against that of adults in international competitions.
A large part of Maxime’s training takes place on a trampoline, especially over the winter season. Training intensively on a trampoline allows him to keep his technique sharp.

France Trampoline & him
Since December 2018, Maxime has been training on the rectangular Apollo Sport 500 trampoline fitted with the Freestyle Pro board, which lets him perform the very same tricks as on his wakeboard.
The trampoline’s large jumping area allows him to work on new tricks in conditions close to the real thing.
